Celebrity plastic surgeon Dr. Ashkan Ghavami of Beverly Hills, California, is one of the best plastic surgeons in America, according to a national survey of surgeons just released, June 4, 2023, by Newsweek magazine.
The celebrity surgeon is often seen on social media with the likes of models, actresses, and other stars, some of whom he does cosmetic work on.
Fellow surgeons said Dr. Ghavami is one of their best, in four out of five of the most popular plastic surgery procedures.
Dr. Ghavami was voted the 12th best breast augmentation surgeon in America, the 4th best liposuction and rhinoplasty surgeon in America, and one of the best 175 facelift surgeons in America.
Survey of 2,000 Plastic Surgeons and Providers
Newsweek magazine surveyed more than 2,000 plastic surgeons and other medical professionals in order to determine who this years’ best plastic surgeons really are.
Roughly 350 of the more than 8,000 plastic surgeons in America were voted as being some of the best, with most of them being the best in one or two of the most common cosmetic procedures.
The 2,000 or more plastic surgeons and other professionals say Dr. Ghavami is one of its best in breast augmentation, facelifts, nose jobs, and liposuction.
Dr. Ashkan Ghavami was voted by her peers as being one of America’s best plastic surgeons for these procedures:
- Breast augmentation (Top 15)
- Liposuction (Top 5)
- Rhinoplasty (Top 5)
- Facelift surgery
The doctor wasn’t voted as a best eyelid surgeon, but we’re not sure if he even performs that.
Dr. Ashkan Ghavami, MD is a plastic surgeon and inventor, according to his practice website.
He is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, which is widely considered the best possible organization to assure quality, experience, and education in the field of plastic surgery.
In California, any doctor can legally perform plastic surgery procedures, though they may not have been specially trained to do so. For instance, it’s legal for a dentist, pediatrician, or anyone else with a valid medical license to do the surgeries, but without board-certification, there’s no way to tell what the results are likely to be.
Board-certified plastic surgeons are held to higher standards of quality, experience, and continuing education, in programs and apprenticeships that can last for 5-6 years.
